The project is located on one of the many industrial redevelopment sites in this part of northern France, on the Fives Cail Babcock site in an area in full urban renewal, studied and developed by l’AUC urban planners.
The site is bordered to the west by an alley containing rows of low-rise “workers’ housing” (two stories + attic). This alley runs between rue des Rogations, located to the south of the property, and rue Pierre Legrand to the north that contains single-family houses (three stories + attic) with large gardens in the center of the block.
The IFSanté is a 3200 square-meter Health Formation Institute building in Lomme, France, for the Catholic University. The site is near the Saint-Philibert Hospital and the subway, in a new neighborhood named “Humanicité” and composed of several open blocks crossed by a large pedestrian avenue.
This project for a nursery is part of Euralille’s greater project, and more particularly in the area of the islet of St. Maurice, built on a section of the De Geyter urban project.
It enhances a pedestrian area comprise varied spaces, crossing the urban project. Included in a 100-dwelling operation, the nursery is located on the ground floor, and confirms its community-building role, on the outskirt of the Place aux Érables.
Over the past twenty years Lille has become a European hub; a destination for business and congress, a great place to study and live and also a tourist destination. It is a city with a turbulent history of conquest and reconquest, a heritage as an important medieval city and later the industrial capital. It is this history, the unique and striking presence of remnants of ramparts of the citadel, which the project seeks to mention.

The project screens the various programs to free up the largest garden possible while providing a real status of public facilities, cultural and social home neighborhood.
The college Levi Strauss is settled in the heart of a urban growth district, between its ancient housing, wharehouses and the port district of Lille, North of France. The main building’s settled on the urban boulevard, the main hall, highly transparent, is opened on the front square, this gives an institutionnal feature to the high school playing a major role within the district. The main entrance is through a porch at the intersection of Boulevard de la Lorraine and Rue Lestiboudois.
