Forward-thinking education requires contemporary concepts, including renovation of university infrastructure, which the French ministry of education has provided extensive funding to expand. An important goal of these reforms is to rethink outdated learning concepts. Technical progress, as well as new methods of communication between teaching institutes (students and teaching bodies) and the public, begin to question the traditional form of scientific libraries. The new Learning Centre “Innovation” is part of a series of similar institutes tasked with stepping up to the new challenges and preparing for the future.

Grand Stade Lille Métropole – IMAGIC WEAVE® transparent media façade made from 2045 m² of HAVER & BOECKER architectural wire mesh

Nowadays, the demand on modern stadium architecture is becoming increasingly complex.  Besides flexibility and a comfortable spectator experience, the aesthetic and multifunctional ability of a stadium are also major design factors. Excitement within the stadium should be transferred to the outside via media facades. One of the most advanced multi-purpose stadiums that meets these demands par excellence is the Grand Stade Lille Métropole. This innovative building is clad with IMAGIC WEAVE® transparent media facade by HAVER & BOECKER. There are three different areas of varying resolution, each providing the optimum requirement for playing the media required.
