Article source: STGM Architectes The command, an almost indestructible and maintenance free sentry box, controlling the entrance to a military base north of Quebec city, Canada. The architects have developed a custom made corten steel pan cladding ensuring the sustainability of the project. A very long overhang protect the glazed part of the building from the east low winter sun. This tiny building have a strong personality and require compliance by its formal simplicity, the nature of the materials used and the strength of its anchoring to the ground.
