The project was created with the intention of transforming the strong physical limitations, geometric and area’s rules of the intervention in a series of architectural cues; the available surface is in fact quite limited in size and characterized from a trapezoidal shape and has a potential edificatoria relatively limited; The building area is inserted in an urban environment characterized by a low quality and from a certain density of the buildings, with the consequent danger of visual interference from the near buildings.

These initial conditions have suggested an unusual approach based on a centrifugal organization of the spaces obtained with the displacement of the volumes to the property’s edge, with the consequent liberation of the central part of the area. Thanks to the \”introverted\” composition adequately protected from the outside with dividing walls of calibrated height and from a planimetric geometry like \”L\”, it was possible to ensure the necessary privacy and, at the same time, despite the small size of the area, it was possible to create spaces of unusual deepness.

We didn’t want cut them and for this reason we had the purpose to don’t intercept the optical axes with opaque elements.
Internally this is avoided as much as possible using only few blind partitions and defining the spaces characterized by different functions, only through the articulation of the horizontal surfaces.

The vast and intimate outdoor thus obtained allow the flowing of the spaces seamlessly through large windows, creating views that cut across the central area. The space includes a formal garden structured in terraces with a basin water that reflects the volume of the main suspended sleeping room.

The project uses the entire surface until the edge in a homogenous whole in which the elements of the massive composition progressively deconstructed and in another hand the natural elements are structured, in a continuous flow of different architectural spaces.

In this way the act of enjoying the exterior and interior of the house will become a compelling \”architectural promenade\” with constant changes of perspective in a series full of scene changes
