Article source: A-cero

A-cero presents one of his last works in single family house. It is a residence of 1250 sqm built on a plot of 1,700 sqm.

Access from the street is produced by an entrance for vehicles and people but with separate application. All the limit of the plot is enclosed with a fence designed by A-cero made in the stone itself housing and black galvanized steel. The plot has a manicured garden noted for its practicality and consistency with the architecture of the house. The facade is made of limestone and black glass. In this case, Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares project a more orthogonal design following the clients preferences, although the essence of the A-cero style. KHVatec Headquarter in Seoul, Korea by THE_SYSTEM LAB

Friday, July 17th, 2015

Article source: THE_SYSTEM LAB

In 2010, when the architects were invited to the concept design phase, it was widespread that the area including the site would transform into a commercial zone (change in Floor-Area Ratio to occur: 250% ? 400%) within next 10 years. The client required three important factors into the design. First, the design should not stand out alone from the neighboring buildings, but still acquire the company¡¯s brand image. Second, to consider that it is IT related company therefore requires high-security, which limits openings. Third, to include a small theater and a gallery for the employees and the public in respect to cultural context that will continue from Seoul Art Center (note that Seoul Art Center is in close proximity of KHvatec Headquarters).

Article source: [STRANG] Architecture

Built on speculation, this tropical modern residence is located on DiLido Island in Miami Beach.   Open water views of Biscayne Bay informed the design of this six-bedroom home. The Master Suite and Great Room feature walls of glass, while generous overhangs protect the home from the elements.  Natural light floods the entire home as a result of a strategically placed entry courtyard.  The home is currently offered for sale for $13,800,000 through Calibre International Realty.
