Praça Vila Nova is a project located on an entire block near an avenue. The program is distributed among the two residential towers that share a leisure area and a natural square right in from of them in the block centre. Both towers have one apartment per floor which has a generous balcony.
This Japanese family home by TTAA/Tatsuyuki Takagi Architects Associates is arranged as a mixture structure.It’s low cost, but was realized an impressive space.The site has a difference in height, facing the canal. The opposite bank of the canal has been running a typical heavy traffic commuting roads of Japan.
China’s largest insurance company, China Life Insurance Company, has moved into its new Data Center in Shanghai-Pudong. After a design and construction period of six years – which is on the long side for China – the complex designed by architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp) was completed in June.
This year’s anniversary 25th Jewish Culture Festival in Cracow celebrates Kazimierz – Jewish quarter of Cracow, as well as other Jewish districts from around the world. Following the theme, BudCud designed a temporary public space in one of a few empty squares in the district.

A great flower of metal masses, made of a minus curved surface is installed in ARCHI-FIORE as a concept using “pop art”, and by doing so I intended to enhance the identity of commercial buildings. To respond to context, to give identity as commercial building, the shape of this project has been curved shape like flower. We expect this complex building will be the architectural flower as land mark of this town.
The House in Gandra on the right bank of the river Cávado is placed next to a metal bridge that connects the village Fão to the city Esposende in the North of Portugal.
A new residential building up to 70 metres in height and including 114 apartments is added to the existing Ter Meulen shopping building in Rotterdam. This is an unusual project as the new building literally rests on the columns and foundations of the existing structure. The only additions are a pair of concrete lift shafts which also provide stability.
Within a completely empty room with double height, we designed a space for the exhibition of furniture for the residential room, we built a mezzanine leaving some distance between centers at full height to link, spatially, both levels.
