Right at Paris’ doorstep, the Evergreen Campus hosts the Crédit Agricole’s head office. Multiple corporate entities share this space. The entire campus revolves around a central park that acts as its green lung.
The conception of Eole – a 67 000 m² building made in four years – preserves and upholds the site’s environmental vocation: buildings operate in accordance with the HQE norms (high environmental quality), new structures were built according to the BBC norms (low consumption buildings), soft energies usage (geothermic, solar and rain water is reused), 4 hectares of green spaces valorized.

Designing a bank is always a delicate affair. On the one hand it is important to highlight the transparency and accessibility necessary to an institution that holds our money. On the other hand, it is always necessary to ensure a sense of security and robustness. The exterior of the building looks for that, the ground floor is transparent, easy to see through and access, the upper floors have less fenestrations and more solid construction.

AKBANK is the new Netherlands Headquarters of the AKBANK in the Rembrandt Tower in Amsterdam.
The key element for the design is the concrete core of the building. The architects focused on creating a sculptural furniture element around the core, transforming it into the “core object”. The design targets to activate the spaces around the core by using a generic order. The “windmills”, a conception based on generic design, generate endless rotations around the core. The windmills are used on two levels, an upper and a lower level on which they rotate in opposite directions. The dimension of time, i.e. in this case the motion of the user causes with each new perspective unique impressions of space. The space becomes actual space. The repetition of the concept on all of the four walls and the short distances cause the intuitive will to explore the sculpture.

Competition, 2004 – first place: There are three structures: a four-storey residential building along the Hauptstrasse, with a walkway which reduces noise levels, a separate structure within this unit to house the banking premises, and a three-storey residential unit parallel to the first at the rear of the plot. This layout creates an internal courtyard, which can be accessed through two generous entrances from the two neighboring streets, which also serve as entrances to the residential units behind and to the services housed on the ground floor. The buildings are enclosed in wooden latticework, creating a filigreed and calm membrane between the internal and external spaces.

The Al Hilal Bank Tower project was an exceptional design opportunity on a highly visible and distinguished site on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Goettsch Partners developed a design solution that offered a unique form derived from a combination of site and contextual influences. The building varies in its massing and aesthetic in order to provide a unique and distinguished building for the site. The building derives its massing from a push and pull effect at the outer corners to achieve a unique form. The building’s skin changes at the “void” locations to accentuate the shifting aesthetic. The tower itself is a value driven class A office building composed of efficient lease spans and column free interior floor plates. The Al Hilal Bank Tower incorporates a distinguished design that will set the standard for the island.
