Hotel LN Garden in Nansha, China by Studio 3LHD

Thursday, February 14th, 2019

Article source: Studio 3LHD

Located in southern China’s Guangdong province, on the Zhu Jiang (Pearl River) estuary, the LN Garden is part of the Nansha Seaside Park. The hotel has a surface of 61068 m2 and 365 rooms. The building forms a unique entity with the surrounding landscape – the shaded and sunny elements of the design (water, lawns and paved surfaces) rhythmically form the spatial dynamics. The main public space of the hotel has a view to the beautiful bay to the west and Seaside Park on the east side of the hotel. Two vertical lobbies and a dominant water feature allow for a gentle flow of space. The transition between outdoor areas and interior spaces is softened by the use of exterior vegetation throughout the lobby.

Reception room of the domain of biar in Montpellier, France by Brengues Le Pavec architectes

Thursday, November 16th, 2017

Article source: Brengues Le Pavec architectes

The binomial constitution is a recurrence in the foundation of an architecture firm. We might think it is almost obvious. The reason? A need for complicity? It seems that the union is strength. But the alchemy of an association is only possible if there is a same sensitivity and architectural ideology. The association is always a compromise and conciliation history. When it works, a look at four eyes focused on the projects is available to customers. Point significant that some perceive easily. For their part, they did not ask. No commercial strategy, no impact study, or marketing project.
