The FLEDERHAUS as an open space where the visitors can be find a new home and it can again serve as an oasis of relaxation and a symbol of a vertical public sphere.

• Cooperation with: MQ Vienna, Griffner, Binderholz

• Use Materials: It is a wooden module construction which is produced with the griffner company.
• Software used: Drawings AUTOCAD; For the concept renderings the architects built a model with hands and then put them into PHOTOSHOP and worked with it.

The visible design of the FLEDERHAUS is dissolving his self when the visitors are using the inside as an open space and get to a new dimension of a public space. Despite its name, it’s not full of bats, but a cluster of hammocks – COME IN AND HANG OUT.

Since 2004 work Heribert Wolfmayr (1973) and Josef Saller (1971) – heri&salli- out spatial drafts, architectural horizons; they work with interventions, bound with surroundings and landscapes which reach their targets in materiality compared with people.  By opposites, put into interlinked connections, an architectural idea – as a collection of different substantial barriers and surfaces – reaches its concept and necessity in connection with material, open space and human being. Man as active being always is the reason for possibilities of architectural drafts.
