The family community centre of Cuiabá, is a project of social nature, to be built through the will and commitment of various entities to which about: blank architecture joined.
This concern with the building’s sustainability becomes even more relevant in a building to a charity institution, giving them the ability to reduce their energy costs and allowing a greater share of the raised funds to be applied on the various social activities they promote. Thus, we seek to create through the introduction of low cost solutions, both for construction and maintenance, of effective natural ventilation solutions, and shading on the exposed facades. The settlement of the building on columns provides a distance to the ground enough to allow natural ventilation below the floor slab, and the reduction of the soil’s impermeability rate. The shading of the facade is done through the reuse of wooden pallets, applied on a modular system granting easy application and replacement. Contact about:Blank architecture.com
