The existing Wilhelminaschool (WHS) in Helmond looks like a farmhouse surrounded with playgrounds in a nice green neighborhood.
The existing aula will be remodeled, new learning zones will be added parallel to the corridor and a new building for the eldest children will be realized. The new building is contrasting with the existing school and is more related to the existing modern houses in the Bachlaan. The solid and robust materials and colors are inspired by the perception of the eldest children and do create a transition to the high-school. Contact UArchitects
