The Pavilion is inspired by the relationship of man, nature and technology.
Green is the new black: Taking the idea of sustainability to a new level, the entire pavilion is made out of a lightweight fabric, which stretches effortlessly between ground and sky. A space of 100 cubic meters is filled with only 10 kg of material, by applying the idea of a minimal surface, which is most common in the natural world. While using latest digital design- , patterning- and manufacturing- techniques, LAVA creates surreal experience in-between the notions of nature and artificial.
