The starting space for this interior reform project is a rectangle of approximate twenty meters long and eight meters wide, compartmentalizing into three main spaces in facade and various internal units that occupy the central space.
The new requirements for the future use of architecture studio raises the need for a large work room for several tables, a meeting room, office, waiting room, bathroom and reception. Due to the proportions and characteristics of space, which has openings in the two short sides of the rectangle, we prioritize occupy the facade with the working spaces and meeting room, concentrating the remaining spaces clustered servers in the central area. To formalize the organizational conditions described above the project generate a central body formed by a folded white skin which includes the services of the office in orange boxes separated that by a strategic location generate the reception areas and waiting room with a simple fold, open by the two opposite sides. The strategic position of the central body generate a double movement around, so that they can separate the study staff movement of foreign visitors, without creating corridors or residual spaces, allowing it to take advantage of the one hundred percent of the surface using the perimeter as library and archive. Partitions and fixed enclosures and practicable have been done with glass to maintain the continuous reading of the central element visible from all areas as the organizer of the different units. To organize the main workspace is arranged a linear equipped piece of furniture, that is hanging work tables on both sides, generating open subspaces for each point of work, which share a single area where white dominate ceiling and walls to provide more light in area, like all main study areas.
