Small Swedish House in Höganäs, Sweden by DinellJohansson (designed using MicroStation)October 30th, 2011 by Sumit Singhal
Article source: DinellJohansson This small summerhouse at the coast of Höganäs was modeled after Palladios famous villas in the Veneto. Different from those extraordinary estates, this house is all about spatial economy. The goal was to create a maximum amount of spatial subdivisions in a building whose size was limited by budget constraints. With Palladios villas it shares the intriguing quality of the cross shaped space and the idea of summer life as an utterly joyful experience.
Construction method Light-weight concrete masonry. 2xsteel beam, painted plaster, tar roofing, interior surfaces: formwork plywood, kitchen bench: in situ concrete, floor concrete. Contact DinellJohansson
