From an architectural point of view, the intervention cherished the idea of identification and inventory of the universe to safeguard, suggesting that the new volumes could act as a framework for the pre-existent elements.

The building is structured based on the idea of creating a central core, containing the collective use spaces, functioning as an interface between two large blocks of teaching, sports and recreational spaces.

Along the northern entrance, it was proposed to build a ramp that would allow direct access to the core of the school. On level 1, there is an enlargement of the space around the arcades to install the service entrance and administration, all through the library and cafeteria, as well as access to level 1, where we can find the main entrance, reception, and toilets. From the main lobby you can access to all wings of classrooms.

To the south, deployed alongside the existing building, a new wing was built, increasing room for technological education and computer workshop. Orthogonal to the pre-existing construction, this new volume, with two floor plans, includes a music room and a large multipurpose space, as well as support facilities for sports activities. On the outside one can find the covered outdoor sports center.

The formal structure of the new volumes is characterized by a dynamic coating material – vines. Thus, the use of vines enable the creation of a certain visual comfort, minimizing the impact of this new volumes, enhancing the surroundings and enhancing the heritage, over the years, to signal the passage of seasons.
