Article source: e|348 arquitectura The typological restructuring longed and requested by the inhabitants of this building is the motto for all your plastic and functional mutation, which, without losing sight of the economics, defines the way the architects approached the whole transformation.
The functional principles that governed the project are: Better use of the built area of the building; By changing to the time of entry, along with how articulate vertically ground and first floors are, all new functioning suggests the conversion of ground floor to a floor that is highly social – with a spacious living room and dining, supported by the kitchen that serves them – and the first floor is more intimate where you sleep. A foreign operation will consist in the creation of new openings facing south / west, benefiting the lighting and heating of spaces, while promoting a clear separation between the two floors that define the building volume.
