In order to emphasize the public nature of the art center, the project presents itself as a series of cuts of an original spherical volume that are tilted to allow pedestrians to cross freely through the public space upon which the building sits. In addition to distinguishing the various programmatic elements of the project, this translation movement follows and connects to an existing public building axis.

This vector then translates into an interior street, connecting directly the existing amenity to the various theater units, whose gradient is matched by the gentle inclination of the sphere slices. The resulting angle also increases the exposure of the building to direct sunlight from the south, which in combination with solar panels on the surface of these cuts aims to conciliate morphology and energy efficiency.
