Article source: Moment Factory Five giant sails majestically puff out their chests, iconic against the Vancouver skyline. Each becomes a dynamic canvas of colours and themes, changing according to season or event. Canada Place is transformed. In a perfect symbiosis of architecture and visual design, of graphics and light, a public space becomes a shared experience.
Moment Factory was invited to participate in the renewal of Canada Place’s image by creating a permanent installation, as well as spectacular visual events and themed narratives using a fusion of lighting and graphic design. The technology and visuals created integrate seamlessly with the architecture, waterside location and changing purposes of Canada Place. A visual content and lighting control system, ten Martin Exterior 1200 projectors and high performance LED fixtures were used to create this permanent installation. Capable of withstanding Canada’s diverse and rugged climate, the installation was also designed to be energy efficient. Contact Moment Factory
