Article source: OSPA Since its inauguration, Brasília is present in the imagination of all of the modern architects. Besides all of the inherent symbolism, designing in Brasília presupposes a contextualization with its monumental scale. The architecture that makes Brasília unique, sometimes also makes it distant from the human being and its needs.
The proposed solution searches an opened dialogue with the street, bringing the square to the inside of the building, and at the same time making the building part of the street. The monumental scale of the entrances evokes a feeling of shelter, transparency and permeability. An honest and contemporary language, with the same values of the institution which occupies the site.
