The first work-unit GREEN ICON, designed by Rizoma Architetture in collaboration with ProholzEmilia, is placed in the new BIOENERGY system in Mantova’s plain.  N.O.W. Green Icon
 N.O.W. Green Icon In the Green Icon are accommodated the control station of the bioenergy system, the auditorium, the archive and the staff’s services. The work-unit is all realized in wood technology; the main walls are in “LegnoTec”, constructed with multilayered “X-LAM” panels in S10 quality. The thermal insulation is realized with wood fiber. The use of ecological materials and the technical systems installed make the Green Icon a very energy-efficient building. The work-unit, 40 square meters, has been realized in only 30 days and is designed also for other systems of the Bioenergie Group.
