Article source: Marcio Rodrigues Universe, nature, man_these are the fundamental ideas behind our project. The conceptual approach was the analysis of the ancient monuments where, for the first time, Man started to connect with the skies. At the same time, we know that Man started to understand the sky, when he groups the several stars. Those constellations inspired us and one of the most visible and know throughout the world is Orion. This created a basis to understand a constellation in an architecture point of view and helped us to organize the program, the space and the circulations.
Our proposal intends to fuse with the nature, connect with the site, and with existent routes, but at the same time, create its own space, a circulation around a courtyard, which connects all the stars that we materialize with volumes. We treated the entrance volumes with an unbalance feeling to receive the people and create a symbol in the middle of the wilderness of the forest. Contact Marcio Rodrigues
