Article source: Duch Piza Arquitectos We built the house at an angle of the plot, so the garden occupies the western side, the front and connects with a small courtyard garden, located on the east side.
The program, for a family with five children, requires the maximal optimization, with places to share and places for the isolation. This effort is visible in the sections: the fixed banks are also skylights that allow the light pass through and get to the basement (one of the best places in the house), the staircase becomes a big library, bedrooms communicate with sliding doors so that five bedrooms are grouped into two galleries. Holes in roofs and floors let natural light get inside the house. MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS
Materials spread out with unusual rules: the zinc of the roof forms the staircase facade and the brick covers the floor as well as walls. The wood, handcrafted, is used for carpentry, flooring, furniture, giving a warm tone to the interior light. The green of the cypress gets the rest. Contact Duch Piza Arquitectos
