The theme of sustainability became mandatory today. Residential, commercial environments, building sites of any scale must be sensitive not only to reuse, as well as the adaptation of materials in use which until then was very different purposes for the construction.
And it was precisely in this spirit of recycling and reuse coupled with countless aesthetic possibilities that this project was prepared.

Breaking taboos representing the aesthetic beauty and the invention of Brazilian architecture in structures that look so rude and impersonal, is one of the factors that raise the subject to a Sustainability artistic status and multiplied.
Using the reuse in all its fullness was the intent of this residence that has system collects rainwater for irrigation of gardens, use in toilets and the cooling system. The energy used to pump this water in turn, is also achieved in a sustainable manner by solar panels.

Through the large glass area of the house, you get the largest possible amount of natural light in environments that need it, while the use of Brise Soleil, architectural element used widely in Brazilian modernism relieves dormitories direct sunlight, so the brightness step into the environment so calculated and comfortable.
The appearance of concrete in construction was possible with the use of fiberglass in an attempt to formalize the curves and the appearance of a modern residence. With this job, it was possible to create a natural flow of hot air outside the house, further easing the ambient temperature.

This temperature is also reduced with a coating blanket of rock wool as insulation, strategically located between the fiber and the structure of the container. The use of rock wool in air conditioned environments allows a representative cost savings of electric power and minimizes the occurrence of condensation along the tiles when temperature inversions.

The combination of technical challenges, highlights the aesthetic and creative Brazilian identity of this project. Representing an architecture world judged by a theme also consider, through an unusual structure.

Retraining modernism in architecture, the modern adaptation of yesterday with today’s modern, explain that the idea of modernity is only possible nowadays through respect for the environment and the intelligent use of natural resources and present this idea in an artistic way innovative and highly feasible is what characterizes this project.
