How can a small bookshop compete within a network of firmly established booksellers? What can it offer to customers? How can it draw attention? Our aim was to create a flexible space that would not only sell books but would also be capable of facilitating various collateral events such as projections, readings, minor concerts, workshops, etc. Two focal points of the bookshop are placed at both ends of the longitudinal space. A checkout is next to the entrance and a coffee bar is on the opposite side on an original elevated gallery.

The proposed development is placed on a unique urban fabric, that flanked on four sides by different characteristic. The organic shape plot of land, start from the junction of Wahid Hasyim Road on the Southern side- as the main thoroughfare that connects CBD area along Thamrin road to Government precinct of old Mentend District – and Jalan Jaksa on the Eastern side, a small road which is homes to backpackers that has been placed under preservation. At the Northern side, the site is bordered by a lane that connects Jalan Jaksa and Kebon Sirih Timur on the Western Side. These sides populated by 2 storey residential buildings. Of 1.2 Ha, the service apartment covers only 30% area.

The first Mobile-Smile is finally completed after 4 months of design and construction. This time Type-B, a support facility, is ready to move, and Type-A is about to complete as well. All the work done in past 4 months are finally pay off.The first one left Takasaki last week, and already set on a site of Ishinomaki Summer Festival, the largest summer festival in Ishinomaki, Miyagi prefecture. The location is next to the river and one of the best spot to enjoy fireworks. From July 29th to August 2, team members will stay at the site, support and help the event organization, and give a briefing session of Mobile-Smile project. We all believe the first Mobile-Smile will do excellent job, and help making more people smile during the festival.

The plot is located in a new residential area of Aglantzia, in Nicosia. The building was constructed in order to accommodate the housing needs of the family of Mrs Ifigeneia Kaizer: a ground-floor residence, 2 apartments on the 1st floor- one for each child of the family, and a small private institute of Greek language and history on the lower level of the plot .

The context is the industrial area on the outskirts of Adro, a jumble of factories without identity.The client is a solid company that has been handed down four generations of the desire for innovation, precision and respect for the environment. The object of the project is the construction of a vertical tamponage to expand production.
The BLUETUBE BAR presents the TUBE-IT system as a feasible and flexible low-cost constructive resource. This system is based on the assembly of “corrugated tube” and “plastic clamps” and it has recently been tested in the construction of a temporary bar for the annual academic festival in Porto – [Queima das Fitas do Porto 2010].
VilLA NM not a regular house, it is not meant for everyday living. It is a house for summers, for weekends, for stolen time. This is a house that you share with your immediate family, with your most intimate friends. The house is compact, as vacation homes often are: like the dacha and lake-side cabin of Russia and Scandinavia the house offers a simple, private, family and nature orientated retreat from urban life. There is none of the clutter of regular life; the house allows you to move through the pleasures of the day with unencumbered ease. All white and smooth, VilLA NM is a futuristic hut; a rural retreat for a family of idealistic, glamorous urbanites.
