Article source: Bluarch Located on the penthouse level of a commercial tower, this venue is a private bar/lounge/showroom for the liquor brand Right Gin. Similar venues were built in New York and Miami.
Lithe iron strips detailed by hanging crystal strands suspend gracefully from the ceiling contouring the space. Exposed brick walls, working fireplace, open ductwork, natural variations in the wood plank flooring, all emphasize the rustic nature of the space. The design of this showroom accentuates the simplicity, and pure satisfaction of sitting back and enjoying a drink… Acting as a bar, a tempered glass box encases a damask silk clad box pierced provocatively by galvanized steel nails running on a 2″ grid. Staggered black alligator panels line the walls intriguingly and add a plush element to glamorize the showroom. Delicate white leather settees, chairs and mirrored cocktail table float atop curvilinear black lacquer legs, and are grouped together invoking patrons to engage one another.
