Modern Bulgarian Traditional House in Plovdiv city, Bulgaria by Gemelli DesignNovember 14th, 2012 by Sumit Singhal
Article source: Gemelli Design The Modern Bulgarian traditional house is located in the Renaissance town of Plovdiv city – the oldest city in Bulgaria (ancient name’s Plovdiv is Philippopolis). The atmosphere of the interior has to be the connection between the modern looking of the young residents and the spirit of the Bulgarian traditional Plovdiv’s old town. It has to be simultaneously modern and traditional.
We use as dominant material the traditional Bulgarian dark wood for interiors. To look modern we polished it and gave bit coldness to the spaces. For the modern looking helped also the lighting systems. Normally a traditional Bulgarian interior is dimply lighted. The spaces are good lighted, with the main function to be functional and comfortable to the residents. Contact Gemelli Design
