project involves the renovation of a small house located on a rectangular lot at the foot of the hill that rises to Trofarello Pecetto. It was to create a small extension of the existing house redesigning reports. special relationship of trust and cooperation established with the clients, two young bold and brave, made it possible to obtain results in the radical transformation of the old building into a new architectural object is recognizable by the public gardens of the surrounding houses.

project does is reinterpret the type of single-family house on lot, trying to establish a different relationship between the building and the access road, towards which shows the house is almost completely blind and introverted, and the garden, to which the interior spaces are opening up through large windows. An imposing stone staircase, relates the garden with the house.

What was initially the back of the house thus becomes the opposite. A gable roof, covered with plain tile floors, covers the entire building. Even the fence, made of brick, proposes building systems typical of the area.

What emerges is a building while using local materials, such as Lucerne stone, brick or larch wood windows and doors, seems to speak a new language, the same one that differs from Lino and Julia elderly neighbors.
