The architectural strategy used has been to create a building whose exterior is defined by a language that seeks abstraction through colour, rhythm, and movement: a language that will contrast with the domestic private life of the residents inside. To combine these two concepts moveable panels have been mounted on the façades. By opening or closing them, residents can choose the level of light or privacy they want at any time throughout the year.
We did not want to build apartments which face only one way, as this would prevent cross-ventilation. The solution has been to create a service core, running up the full height of the structure, in a building corner by the entrance terrace-hall, which will allow cross-ventilation through its openings on either side.
