The building occupies a singular geometry plot, the available space has the form of an almost equilateral triangle whose facades give urban roads of different character. On one side is the Avenue of Merindades that is the only way that surrounds the building and therefore must accommodate the road access, the building also offers street facade of The Almoceda having pedestrian nature, while its third façade overlooking the park leading down to the shore of Queiles.

Due to the characteristics of the urban environment of the plot, all accesses are concentrated in the southwest facade, which overlooks the Avenue of Merindades. This circumstance determines the functional organization of the building to achieve the required location of different entry points to the building, from the point of view of its use and its treatment in terms of accessibility and comfort, spaciousness and image.

So: the access road to the basement of the building is at the lowest point of the plot to minimize the impact on the ramp surface. The police office entrance stands next to the driveway with a drop on the ground level of something over a meter that is saved with an interior ramp. The main entrance approaches the south although corner point distance somewhat higher elevation to facilitate the accessibility of the whole building. Next to the main entrance is placed access to Police Court. Finally, in La Almoceda Street, appears an emergency exit that could be used, if so decided as access point court personnel.

The location and distribution of hits obviously refers directly to the organization of the circulations of the building and the determination of its areas of use, issues that closely related. The fact is that the location of the access and the relationship established between them ideally suited to the requirements of the program requirements, resulting in an overall solution possibilist but, at the same time remarkably consistent.

The shape of the plot causes a volumetric compactness. Therefore, the first decision, in the face of division of labor, is introducing a void in the heart of the apple that is configured as a covered patio that introduced light in the center of the building that houses the main staircase symbolic way of building. The various uses of the building are arranged around this courtyard is formally defined as a triangle equivalent to form external alignments, although the different needs of each surface uses this triangle move south of the block.

The external appearance of the building only collects the organization described. Each plant is treated with an external image that responds to the internal organization, all wrapped in a veneer micro precast prestressed concrete facade creating a ventilation space, disappearing in designated areas such as waiting rooms, offices or other uses. Where different vents or louvers for protection of views, and metal frames with safety glass.

The main entrance is marked with a double height porch flared in which is inserted a small glass box containing the entrance gate at the top of the porch flags will stay set. Wanted to get a sober building emphatically assert their status as urban landmark, while abroad express the internal configuration of their duties.
