Katamaran house were designed for a settled families in the northern residential area of Jakarta. The need for large comunal space that can view a garden and a swimming pool inside the house become a major point in designing the house. All the space are form to respond the central point of the house, which is a swimming pool and a shallow pool to provide a cooler temperature that breeze into the house.

The basement area is created as a service area, and some supporting room. The ground floor are for the guest area. in the middle space, a large family room together with the formal dining room with a high ceiling are placed, which then ends with a pantry. we can step outside to the open terrace beside the pool.

The family room are separated by sliding frameless glass door from the outside, that can be fully slide, so that the air can breeze into the house. Second floor are private area that is designated as the bedrooms and connected by a long bridge in the living room. The concept is to create a diverse and green house in Jakarta tropical climate.
