On the basis of a Prototype designed for a competition, we have given shape to this installation in a concrete territory:
an installation in the landscape. Ecoparks being centres of collective collection of domestic waste (excepting the organic kind,
for which normalised channels of elimination already exist), we consider it essential to introduce in the project the communications variable, or at least to generate its possibility.

Above and beyond an analysis of the organisation and resolution of the programme, the objective is to bring this installation closer to the user, since it is the midpoint between the citizen and the controlled rubbish dump, at a greater distance, selection and recycling centre.

The programme is made up of a circuit for vehicles, in which are laid out the different containers in which to discharge the rubbish (ten for type B). There is also a control room, a toilet, an environmental classroom (only for type C), a covered delivery area for specific containers of lesser size, an area for manoeuvring in order to take away or replace the containers and a small
storge space.

The project assume its didactic identity, since it will receive visits form school children, among other activities. We decided to unite the small parts of the programme in order to give a necessary minimum scale to this building, which becomes visible from a distance as an advertising structure.

The unit is constructed with an assembly system, the details of which are typical of industrial catalogues. The landscaping has been designed by taking on board the edaphologic, topographic, hydric, climate, economic, functional and educational factors.
Thus, it will stick out its long neck in order to make itself visible and also to communicate.
