Article source: Arqmarket / PROJ3CT PROJ3CT was commissioned to design new houses (two-bedrooms and three-bedrooms) updating the existing models of Dânica. It was aimed to upgrade the formal and aesthetic structure of the prototypes, while ensuring a strict link with constructor definitions and their own products and technical specifications.
The concept for the redesign of the houses consists on undoing the sense of enclosure, perceived as typical of the pre-existing model, and adopt a fluider articulation between the several moments of the house. In order to achieve that we´ve chosen to highlight the roof and the side panels, making them work as a whole. This group creates and outside layer accurately defined on the panel modules. It aims to be light and subtle, wether by the materials own specs and by the trimings done on the touch points between panels. We tried to respect the own nature of the materials that were being used, highlighting its beauty and standardization. The combination between the roof panels and the wall panels creates a protective surface that hosts all the other constructive elements. The other panels that create the house work as an alternate group, different in color and configuration. On the front and rear facades, the outside panels are receded thus creating shadow and con fort on the interior. Contact Arqmarket / PROJ3CT
