Article source: GOO ARQUITECTOS Las Acacias is a project located outside of Mexico City. The idea came from a place to enjoy a weekend break with family or friends where they could pursue other activities of recreation. With the idea that the use of the house would not have the same dynamic of a house in the city, we intent to take advantage of the outdoor space to the fullest, leaving the space covered as small as possible. Thus the relationship between interior and exterior space becomes a crucial issue.
To make this relationship more dynamic, we propose wooden panels that can be opened or closed as desired. Inside rigid spaces arise as a small kitchenette and a bathroom, but also contemplated two flexible spaces, one upstairs that fits like bedroom and one downstairs that can function as living room, meeting room or dinning room. Also, the patio can suit different activities such as soccer, volleyball, miniature golf, hammocks or tents area. Contact GOO ARQUITECTOS
