House is difficult to access, located on a steep basalt slope above the village. Garden is facing northeast. On the other hand there is a positive side to it – an exceptionally beautiful view on the river. Builder feels a very strong connection to this place, as there used to be a small weekend cottage built by his grandparents.
New house is therefore created as a harmony composed by fragments of nature, ships on the river, weekend gardening and nostalgia… New house is continuation of the story of the original cottage.
