Article source: HOWE a/s CEU is a leading regional centre for business education in Kolding, Denmark. It involves 9,300 m2 with a supplementary student residence of 2,200 m2. CEU Kolding was completed in 2002 as a project of Schmidt, Hammer & Lassen A/S, Aarhus. The building stands as five squares with a quiet gravity, placed in the open field as an indication and underlining of the green, rolling countryside.  Image Courtesy HOWE a/s
 Image Courtesy HOWE a/s The school’s interior arrangement should harmonize with the surroundings’ visual communication, materials, structure and application. With the choice of chair it was additionally crucial that it was optimally stackable, as all rooms with mobile walls have an underlying demand to be quickly adaptable according to function and capacity.  Image Courtesy HOWE a/s Equally, the chair should be able to be set up simply and safely in many formations, and should be able to satisfy the fire authorities’ demands regarding linking and row arranging. It should be sturdy and easy to clean, and equally good solo as in groups. Three versions of the 40/4 chair was chosen.  Image Courtesy HOWE a/s
