Article source: JAM The site is located on the part of a gradual hill at the foot of Mt Rokko. This building is planned as the recreational facility of the company for employees and their families. The Glass House on the first floor of the main house, beautiful scenery extends through north and south, leading to various sequences rich nature into the inside space.
In the south, the water basin of 30 meters length is arranged, subtle and profound light reflected on it begins to light up the Glass House. On the second floor, the relaxation space for guests develops linearly. From the void space of the south side, guests can overlook under the beautiful view of the port town of Kobe. In the north side, the wall of a bandage encloses a bamboo grove. Another guest space of the west wing is connected with several steps of loose stairs, and the wooden terrace. In the north side, the wall pillar supporting the second floor portion of a main building is extended vertically, and the beautiful ivy is densely planted in the slender garden.
