Article source: Studio Alfirevic Solar Atrium House is intended for periodic or permanent use and life in nature. The basic concept is to create a peaceful, safe and intimate retreat. The building is introverted type, with centrally positioned courtyard – atrium, around which all living quarters are arranged.
The entrance is at the front side of the building, where are also the only door that are armored. The internal organization of the rooms are divided into day and night zone interconnected through the windshield and the corridor. The final materialization of the object in the noble plaster, painted in white tone. The roof, which is oriented to the south, has the integrated hybrid solar collectors that convert solar energy into heat and electricity.
