Article source: Ezequiel Farca The MU apartment is in an exclusive area of Mexico City. For the design of this space guidelines were taken into account to address specific needs. The common areas such as the dining room and breakfast share the space along with a window that extends through both areas, the view of the urban landscape that provides the location, distinguishing each use. The bedrooms are neatly located in a private area of the house, benefited by the concept of large windows to appreciate the City of Mexico view.
A palette of neutral colors and natural materials such as elm, oak, marble and resin, achieve a warm, modern aesthetic. A series of wooden staves provides privacy and gives light along the study. The distribution and geometric alignment space consists of furniture specially made for this project and some others imported, creating a discreet and quiet atmosphere. Architectural elements are designed to create more intimate feelings; an example is the extensive panel of handcrafted resin installed in the wall separating the public areas, which is used as a dividing wall and artwork at the same time. Light plays an important role in the design of space, architectural elements and indirect light installations illuminate ViaBizzuno manage furniture and accessories in a minimalist way.
