Article source: Ramon Esteve The space “Terma” (Thermal) is inspired by natural thermal springs created by volcanic activity. A serene and hedonistic atmosphere is evoked by pure and architectural forms. The space is created by using large, prismatic volumes. Two large walls which divide and give focus to the space use a wood mosaic and backlit stone which illuminates the area with soft lighting. The edges of the space are divided into vertical panels of stone with different depths and light emerges from between the panels.
The solid nature of the material combined with warm tones creates a tectonic atmosphere. Thermal’s mixture of materials and combination of public and private creates harmony on different levels, be it in a bedroom or as part of a larger open space. Contact Ramon Esteve
