Article source: MODOM The owners’ sociability and openness laid the foundation of the design of this exceptionally open and integral room with a core that later becomes functional and useful. A giant eight meter long table stretches through the whole space and different functional areas. The lack of stepped storage space and moving large volumes below eye level adds more spaciousness to the apartment. The hierarchy of the materials plays its own role in creating contrast — between the large amounts of warm wooden colors and the neutral white, which is further subdued by the light wooden floor. The more private part of the apartment contains a bedroom, a bathroom and a multifunctional closet.
