Baja California Residential Building in Amealco No. 19, Colonia Roma Sur by Taller David Dana ArquitecturaApril 15th, 2014 by Sumit Singhal
Article source: Taller David Dana Arquitectura Baja California is developed on a compact plot of 269sq meters in one of the most seismic hazard zones of the city. This triggered multiple challenges and opportunities that concluded with the following results: The building has a one parking lot at the main level and 13 apartments including 1 loft subdivided in 7 different levels.
Its main characteristics are the simplicity of its structure and the dynamism on its facades due to certain rotation and angles manipulation. The layout presents 2 apartments at each floor which are almost identical. The sixth level presents a lateral setback that provides a large terrace for the penthouse loft apartment.
