A day care center housing 4 groups of children as well as common areas is located in the scenic area between the beach and the old fishing town Råå – in connection to the local primary school.
The building is designed as an interpretation of a village structure immersed in a sand dune. Characteristic gable designs emerge of landscape lines and context and demonstrate a human intake of the dune. This typology is designed to create good light incidence to the children at all times of the year.
