The essence of the house was to reflect the identity cheerful and festive of the client, and to show their close relationship with their roots and culture. The result, a house that is distinct in the neighborhood with overwhelming personality.

Located in a densely populated neighborhood of the city and surrounded by homes without architectural design, this project breaks the monotony of the site, give a new twist to the neighborhood and promote the interest of its inhabitants to explore a different, innovative architecture.

This house had a very clear objective from the start, to be a home that would solve the basics needs of a young family; a couple and their child. With a very limited budget, the geometry of the house has to be very simple and orthogonal as a cube.

The sitting of the house in the center of the plot helped to take advantage of the climatic conditions of the area and create a fresh and airy interior, with a double height stair area that provides an open feeling upon entering the house.

A two-car garage, play area for the little girl, living room, kitchen and one bedroom with bathroom located on the ground floor and two bedrooms with two bathrooms upstairs make up the program of the house. The windows of irregular shapes respect the design of the façade and illuminate the interior in a different and creative way without losing the privacy of the house.

The red facade inspired by a coral that grows and spreads over the surface as seizing it while enveloping the house, to break the simplicity and seriousness of its geometry.

A home that not only caused impact to the urban environment, but it also provided a positive change of life for its inhabitants.
