House JEK in Klagenfurt, Austria by spado architects

Article source: spado architects
The property is located at the north-eastern corner of a recently built single-family residential area to the south of Klagenfurt. The terrain slopes to the north. Meadows and fields border the property to the east and north.
The partial basement of the house creates a base at the north-western side. On the north-eastern side the ground floor floats above the unchanged landscape.
Large panoramic windows frame the view of the surrounding landscape. Towards the south the house opens up to a large roofed patio with pool. The porch is weather resistant and provides privacy, and is penetrated by a number of round skylights, which create a poetic lighting mood.
