The project promotes re-naturalizartion of the southern part of Milan, an area on the edge of the town and currently of ambiguous nature, unused, with no character and prone to progressive deterioration as a result of unwanted uses by the community, which is reinvented through productive landscapes -main character of the proposal- which also includes residential program for young people and exploration of new means of cohabitation and sports facilities to benefit and support the community area includes the adjacent neighborhoods. The sports landscape is a gradient between the city and nature, completing a progressive disappearance of the built landscape to a completely natural and rural landscape. Sustainability has been an design engine for the project, being present in all decisions made in order to provide the community with a coherent project with the natural environment and one that does not require excessive maintenance or that influences in a negative wat on the ecosystem. Food production, the use of autochthonous vegetation, landscapes and the treatment of roads hierarchies of use has been assessed to benefit reducing emissions and promoting efficient means of movement and non-polluting. This award is an addition to the three previous awards won by AAIMM so far this year: Finalist in the category of research in Next Landmark awards; Honorable Mention in the category of Urban Concepts at Rethinking the Future and Third Prize in competition for Urban Concepts of Rethinking the Future 2014.
