The main concept for the house was the placement of the building on the terrain forming a “L”, creating a patio that integrates both social and intimate areas granting good sun orientation for its inner and outer spaces.
On the interior sliding walls creates flexibility and spacial integration, the natural light and ventilation comes through the big glass panels and roof openings. Six meter high pivot glass doors invites the user to contemplation of the swimming pool and garden.
The concrete columns supports the light roof on large spans that seams to float on the landscape, while sliding windows panels controls the entry of natural light. The building explores textures of local materials such as stone and wood in harmony with concrete creating a warm and contemporary atmosphere.
