The client of this penthouse apartment is a medical doctor that works extremely long hours and values his solitude, privacy and time while at home.
The brief was he wanted the apartment to feel like a luxury hotel suite with a mod (20th) century modern feel.
This black-on-black bespoke fit-out is sleek and elegant leaving no detail unattended. From the moment you walk in, you are transformed to a world of grace and sophistication. In the middle of the apartment is a tropical winter garden which houses a mature frangipani tree that was craned in, inducing an instant state of tranquility and relaxation. The clever use of American Walnut veneer floor-to-ceiling timber panels and concealed doors and black Japan hard timber floors creates an expansive seamless warm feeling throughout.
The bathrooms are sleek with floor-to-ceiling smoked glass walls and over-sized high gloss jet-black floor tiles.
