¨When i was a girl, i enjoyed a lot in the home of family ranch, the feeling of freedom that it generated looking out of the window; when I came to live in the city, the feeling was lost … today I feel it again … ¨ Magaly Villalba, owner.

The project is located in a residential area of order and context complex in the north of Babahoyo, capital of the province of Los Rios, Ecuador. Consists of 5 rooms with his heart between them, a small inner courtyard, and its front yard facing the street with its central axis, the tree, that generated with its projected growth a transformation on the inside and outside. Based its building in a constructive process using artisan labor and local materials in situ, by stacking thousand square blocks of clay, wood, and blocks treaties. The natural lighting fragmented along the outside wall is routed to the center fading a little toward the interior, denoting a spiritual character; more austerity in the palette of materials and colors endorses this intention. A intention that evolves from a house intervened.

Getting a whole sober character with clear and basic formal, where in a virtual way its outer screen permeable is separated with the interior, not forgetting the meaning of the street as an extension of the house within the cultural context and traditional of the population, in a order dual between reticular and dynamic and its openings helping the lightness of the wall, while maintaining a sense of continuity with the sky, working with this positive tension with the context, will open the way to a projection more anchored in the experiences.

An architecture that invites us to live types of emotions, experiences within the net, pure, routine, which however are different; create a memory of living closest to the context; a set of lights and shadows, like watching a dress transparent, fragile, suggestive of various sensations, where it survives the intrigue and desire. The capita does not feel imprisoned, but free, which is part of a vision is needed? The city grows up and moves away from the childhood memories in that freedom was part of the visual sensations of the day.
