Andante is where the travelers from a diverse world stop, In this place beyond their home, visitors will have a privileged location in the first square of the historic centre of Puebla city and few meters away from the 16th century cathedral, surrounded by many other historic buildings dated from Mexico’s viceroyalty.
The architectural project consisted on intervene an old viceroyal style house dated from 16th century with the purpose to generate unique modern-traditional spaces. A selection of colors, details, music, textures and light had to be applied to achieve this demanding task. The 16th century great classic music composers were proposed as the main concept to lead the design axles so that is where the name “Andante” came from, a tempo between the Allegro and Adagio.
The final result, a mixture of rococo and contemporary style allow the rooms transform themselves into great concert halls and unique galleries where the hosts can make their stay an intimate travel through time, sounds, aesthetics, history and vanguard.
