This stunning apartment is perched high in Victoria Parks, Zetland, in the recently completed (2012) Prominence building with uninterrupted city skyline views.
The client of this property is the Analysis Manager Group Finance at Leight on Contractors – Leight on Holdings, one of the largest infrastructure construction companies. As part of our many services, we help clients select a property best suited for their needs, prior to buying.
The client was so thrilled and happy with my choice that he has been a great supporter. Due to confidentiality I cannot give his name but I can say to you, he has kindly written a “Recommendation” on LinkedIn. (I think you will be able to work it out).
This project was a refurbishment, makeover and styling. The existing layout comprised a spacious open plan living included two (2) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms (en-suite off the main bedroom), a study nook a north aspect (which is priced here) and full width balcony. An over sized car space with direct lift access.
When briefing the client, I asked which three (3) household items he couldn’t live without. One of those was a Persian rug that held significant emotional value because his late grandmother gave it to him. This helped me with the colour palette.
The result was a sleek interior finish throughout.
Milk chocolate coloured walls help create a moody and calming effect. The sheer curtains add a touch of sophistication and also softens the room.
A custom designed floating credenza is suspended off the wall houses the entertainment unit and a mini bar.
Because of the open plan nature of this apartment, I integrated the different zones by matching the timber veneer (Wenge) for the credenza, dining table, suspended desk and kitchen cupboards. A soft white Caesarstonewas used for the kitchen bench tops.
The Philip Stark “Mademoiselle” dining chairs were reupholstered in a fabric to compliment the colour palette of the Persian rug and a feature wall was also upholstered in the same fabric to compliment the chairs.
Everything was customized for this client including bed linen and even the bathrobe while working within a very tight budget. No detail was left unattended.
